Recycled shirts

I recently went through my old summer clothes and found these beauties. They look awful on me, but I thought they might look great on my wall ;)

This painting was so much fun to make! I've been enjoying getting my hands dirty with charcoal and paints, and giving the brushes a rest. There is something so joyful about painting this way. There is no room for perfection, just simple JOY of mixing paint with your fingers and dabbing it on the canvas

Have a great PPF

Love the recycled fabrics in your art work . Incorporating old vintage fabrics into a collage mixed media really does create some interesting textures.
Love the swimmer's bathing cap and the lovely background to the ceramic bird. Nice work!

I will have to remember your methods when it comes to purging my closet. Perhaps I could create a boho patchwork skirt out of the clothes I no longer like! Love that you are painting! Sure wish you were offering an older kids painting class. If you do in the future, let me know :) Tasha
