Inspiration - Pears

Who knew a bag of pears could inspire me so.

For a week long I was mesmerized by their changing colours, their shape, 

but unfortunately not their taste - they didn't ripen right - yuck! 

BUT they were beautiful to look at and this week I'll share a bit about what we made because of those lovely pears.

I just love this time of the year, and although no one here goes to school yet, I can't help but treat our family to fresh new school supplies. I've been working on a project to store some of our coloured pencils and will share it with you later this week.

Willard Wigan uses a hair pricked from a fly to carve a grain of sand into something recognizable. 

This tiny sculpture fits inside the eye of a needle and can only be seen under a microscope. Crazy I know!
