Oh it is true that the earth is laughing lately with flowers! They are everywhere!
Etian keeps popping dandelion flowers in my pockets, Semay
literally picked ALL...and I mean ALL my tulips in one swoop and brought
it proudly to me behind her back.
It might just be my favourite week where no matter where you look a blossom popped open where only two weeks ago all branches were bare.
Much like the blossoms she appeared out of nowhere. I was planning to paint over an old abstract I didn't like, wanting just a white canvas to start again. But then a dress started to appear and soon my trusty skewer came out and I scratched the face and flower.
I'm also submitting it to Paint Party Friday - to see some amazing artists hop on over to these sights.
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Lovely and I think she could be sad with flowers in her hair if she was rejected by someone she admired!!

Your world of flowers is wonderful, I felt like I was riding towards you on my bicycle, your colours light and so feminine. Beautiful.

Love that painting - it's very ethereal - so i can see that she just appeared out of nowhere. Lovely photos - children and flowers. Nothing sweeter. HPPF
Your painting is beautiful! It does seem to have popped up like the spring daffodils.
