Mexican Art

Mexico is such a gem. 

Every time we visit I fall deeper in love with this place. The ocean turqouise, sand so soft. The people friendly. But what really struck me this time is how much they value art and the hand made. 

We were constantly surrounded by beautiful creations - carved wood, blown glass and bright colourful hand painted plates. 

Renting a car we visited Todos Santos - a tiny artist village and found these treasures to bring home

Now even oatmeal feels fancy ;)

Sea turtles -

Mid week on our trip to Mexico we took a trip to XCARET.

After an hour in the park, overwhelmed, hot and quietly thinking we made a huge mistake -  

we turned a corner...

And there it was...

 

Giant sea turtles swimming so beautifully in a pool of Aqua blue.

Everyone became still as we watched these amazing creatures.

Relaxation...

Postcards from Mexico

After a very long winter we treated our little family to a beautiful week in Mexico. And it was incredible! 

The ocean, the sun, the colours - so inspiring.

Between all the hustle and bustle of traveling with lil' ones, certain moments of our trip stood out. Peaceful moments. Vibrant moments. Moments that changed the way I see the world. This week I'll be sharing those moments with you.
