Fire and Silk - hot air balloon

I've read that one can rent a hot air balloon in Kenya and spend the day flying across the African savannah, chasing zebras as they migrate. Doesn't that sound like an adventure! Since that article I've been in love with hot air balloons - fire and silk they call it

This one is made with vintage paper, watercolor and acrylic paints -a gift for a new mom who was kind enough to feature my art on her website Sundaybrunchdress.

If you love hot air balloons too, you might enjoy this video. Happy PPF everyone :)

Sounds marvelous to float and your balloon would be so pretty to spend a day in. Happy PPF

Love your little balloon painting, lovely gift. We have a balloon festival in our town every year, it is a spectacular sight.

Your pretty blue painting reminded me of some photos I took years ago of baloons. I must look for them.
